Mondial MXGP: a second rider in 2020 at Honda SR Motoblouz !

Valentin Guillod

The news from Team Honda SR Motoblouz has been busy at the end of 2019! After the Paris Supercross, which took place on the weekend of November 10 (almost a month ago), the drivers continued with the Barcelona Supercross on November 25.

In parallel with these 2 races, Josse Sallefranque, the team manager, was able to announce excellent news to the entire team: the signing of Swiss Valentin Guillod for the 2020 season.

2019 Paris Supercross: a contrasting weekend

A major event on the European Supercross calendar, the Parisian event did not really favor the two Honda drivers entered in SX2.

Indeed, Adrien Escofier injured his thumb (sprain) and unfortunately was unable to properly defend his chances. For his part, Anthony Bourdon, very ambitious before the race, won no better than 6th place during his Paris weekend.

Barcelona Supercross 2019: a rebound after the semi-failure in Paris

Despite his injury which occurred at the Arena Paris la Défense (see above), Adrien insisted on taking part in the Barcelona Supercross. And it did him a lot of good: thanks to his 5th and 6th place during the SX Tour, our driver returned to a very good 4th place in the general classification. He is only 3 small points from the podium.

The Supercrosses in Lyon, Geneva and Amneville should quickly provide a clearer picture of the final ranking.

Valentin Guillod joins the Team for 2020

He is a former European 250 champion who will join the Honda SR Motoblouz Team for 2020. The Swiss Valentin Guillod was in fact officially announced by the team boss, Josse Sallefranque.

Alongside Jeremy Van Horebeek, Valentin will compete in the entire 2020 World Cup, for a total of 20 races. They will both ride a 450 CRF.

Passionate about motorcycles since a young age, I am particularly interested in two-wheel sports news. I also have a keen eye on all the results of the Motoblouz team, of which I don't miss a single race!
